Happy 4th of July! I hope your weather where you live turned out better than mine. The weather here in central IL has been rainy and cold all day long. I’m not sure I remember the last day that it rained the entire day. But, today it has. We had plan to take the kids to the new swimming pool we joined and have some fun in the sun, come home and put the kiddos down for a nap (maybe mama too!) and then head to the town’s Taste and 4th event. Being our first year in this town, we were excited to check it all out. I also went and picked up the cutest matching 4th outfits for us all. (gag – I know!) Would it be wrong to return them tomorrow? I mean, we haven’t taken the tags off and it’s not like the kids will be able to wear them next year. LOL!
I was able to start my day with my very 1st EVER Yoga class. The teacher didn’t show up and one of the classmates decided to run the show. It actually was very nice. I was a little concerned with my shirt that kept rising up to show my left over baby belly – but I don’t really think anyone noticed. The rest of the day we spent relaxing in the house and not doing much of anything. We decided to go rent a movie, Marley And Me, and watch with Ella. OK – nobody told me that this was not a kids movie! I really thought from all the reviews and hoopla that it was family friendly. NOT! Well, not for my 3 year old that broke into tears at the end when the movie was over. Poor thing. She didn’t even know why she was crying but knew she wanted mommy to turn it back on. So sad. I even caught my husband with some tears. Guess I need to go rent a funny, kid-friendly movie WITH DOGS for Ella tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Ahhh the rain we had it too, but well expected since we’re in the same state
had big family plans but well most of our guests actually canceled so we had a few people over and a nice relaxing day!
I would return those outfits, you’re right if they will not wear it throughout the summer than it won’t fit next year, just exchange it for something they could wear everyday.
Oh my I haven’t been to yoga in like 4 years LOL
