If you’re new to my blog or if you have been following already - WELCOME! I’m new in this Mommy Blogger Boom and am LOVIN it! I’ve been blog hopping and basically soaking in every bit of info to figure this whole thing out. I’ve sooo enjoyed seeing and reading all the other blogs out there and have learned so much already. I have some favorites, but am adding to that list daily. From time to time, I’ll be featuring a Mommy Blogger and even have some guest bloggers on. It’s just a way for me to get to know you all better and hopefully introduce you to someone you may not have known before. Make sure to introduce yourself while you’re here as well so that I can get to know you too!
One blog that I find myself drawn to (along with a million other moms) is from MckMama over at My Charming Kids. I LOVE her photos and her posts seem to pull you in. She seems like someone that you can meet for the first time and just sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee (or green tea) with and feel like you’ve been friends forever. I’ve grown to love her kids and her story and her precious baby, Stellan. If you are by chance living on another blogosphere and haven’t checked her out…by all means do!
MckMama has some amazing photos on her site and has recently placed all of her photographing tips in one section. So, today while the kids were running around like wild animals napping peacefully, I decided to play a little with my camera and photo software to see what I could do. WOW! With just a few adjustments on the camera and playing around with the color, my photos look awesome! Take a look…

OK, so this is just my first stab at this. I’m sure I’ll get better with practice. Hey! Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I shoot with a Canon Powershot A590. It’s just a simple camera, but it takes really good pictures normally. You can adjust some basic settings just like MckMama suggests and there ya have it…artsy, more crisp looking photos.
If you’re like me, I take a million photos of my kids and really only get a few good ones from time to time. With the tips MckMama hands out, you can take better pics every time and hopefully have more good ones to choose from!
Here’s a few more I played with…

If you head over to see MckMama, make sure to tell her I sent you! : ) You’re gonna fall in love with her blog as much as her photos!
*Make sure to share your photos with me if you try this out. I’d love to see them!
