Does this look like a familiar scene from your house yesterday?
We (or should I say my husband) took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather (while I shopped) yesterday to hang Christmas lights on the outside of the house. We normally wait until it’s 10 below out and we can’t feel our fingers or toes anymore. So, we had to jump on the opportunity to hang the lights when the sun was shining and no coats were required. Well, not required until the sun starting going down because we were still outside.

I call this Phase 1 of the outside Christmas decorating and Brian calls it “done!”

Don’t you think icicle lights around the 2nd floor roof would look nice? What about wreaths in every window and on the door? Maybe lighted trees on either side of the door and moving reindeer in the front yard?
Hmmmm….wonder who’ll win on this one? We will see….Oh, YES! We will see!

Love the pics! It is so odd to be so warm this time of year! I know I can still go out in just a light jacket and it is kinda strange. Last year it snowed on thanksgiving
