Buy a gallon of milk instead of half gallon containers.
By shopping for a gallon jug of milk instead of two half-gallon containers you’ll be helping have a big impact on the environment. It takes so much less energy to manufacture bigger containers, an average household could save enough energy to run a refrigerator for three days!
Also, don’t forget to also recycle that empty plastic milk jug when you are finished!

I have never thought to buy milk in any other way… only maybe had if it is was an emergency run & it was all the store had or all the $ I had in my pocket at the time.
