We’re Having A Party!

Everybody’s swinging, dancing to the music, on the radio!  rod

Can’t you just hear Rod Stewart belting out this familiar tune?  No, just me?  HAHA!  I don’t believe it!

Anyway…we’re having a BIRTHDAY PARTY for my Ella!  She’s turning 4 at the end of the month and we’re so excited to be planning her party.  (we’ll technically, it’s just me planning – but we are ALL excited!)

Of course, MY Princess is into all things Princess these days – so what kind of party do you think we’re having?  A PRINCESS TEA PARTY!   It promises to be a royal event for sure.

I am also very excited to have the good fortune of working with a company called Dress Up and Play Parties.

They will be supplying:

Princess dresses for each girl
Tiaras
Gloves
Birthday Banner
Loot Bags

“Mask for the ball” crafts

I can’t wait to show you all that they offer and how it will be used at the party.  But, I’m saving that for after the party!

I’m still open to any ideas or products you think this little Princess would like to have at her party.  Give me your best ideas and I’ll give you credit and link to you in a post after the party!

Well, I’m off to plan more of this little gathering that happens in 2 WEEKS!!  More to come!!!

Be sure to check out the princess castle cake at Betty Crocker online, we’re going to attempt that one for Emma’s birthday next month.

You should have a tea party. All the girls in their dresses that would be so cute, little sandwiches and little cookies. You could serve hot chocolate or cool aid but it would be so much fun in a tea cup

I won a great gift from a blogger last November, it was a box from http://www.myprincesspartytogo.com/ and it had all the stuff to dress up 4 girls! Feather Boa, crowns (foam kind you decorate AND the pretty ones) and scepters and tutu’s. My daughter loved opening that box on Christmas!

I don’t know how many other little girls are coming over but you could have a tea party! You can get tea sets for pretty inexpensive at walmart or the dollar store :)

I can’t wait to see pics – that company has a great idea I know my daughter would love a dress up party like that

Happy 4 years! wow!!

For the goodie bags you could have it Disney Princess themed. Each bag has a different princess theme and items relating to that princess. I don’t know how hard that would be. Or you could find printable coloring pages of princesses Disney or otherwise and have a group coloring activity. That’s all I can think of besides a cake that was all ready mentioned. I have three boys so planning a princess party isn’t really in my future, lol!

If you’re planning another craft, hobby shops usually carry little trinket or jewelry boxes that could be painted and/or adorned with plastic jewels. Have fun! My little girl just turned 4 last month. It’s a great age!

Man! Ella looks like she’s aged a year in a couple of days since I’ve seen her.

Kasey,
I LOVE that Rod Stewart song. I had to write so you wouldn’t be the only one singing it. It’s playing in my head right now! I wish we could come to Ella’s party. I can’ believe she is going to be four. And I’ve never even seen Andrew in person. That’s just not right. Hopefully we can do something about that in the near future. “Twisting by the Pool” by Dire Straits, anyone?
Love, Holly

Yes, we miss you all lots and lots! Little (actually BIG) Andrew is a hoot! You’ll get a kick out of him!

I am ALL FOR Twisting by the pool – SOON!
