Paula Deen and PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese has teamed up to bring you the “Real Women of Philadelphia,” a journey to find four fantastic female home cooks who will each win $25,000 and work with the community to create a cookbook featuring all of our favorite recipes made with a little PHILLY.
It all begins on Monday, March 29th with an eight-week casting competition to find four “Real Women of Philadelphia.”
Philadelphia and Paula Deen are looking for great home cooks who have fabulous recipes using cream cheese from one of four categories: Side Dish, Appetizer, Entrée, and Dessert. Female cooks are to send in a video making your favorite cream cheese dishes so that everyone can watch ‘em, try ‘em, and ultimately pick 16 lucky winners to be flown to Savannah to crown the top 4 lucky ladies as the Real Women of Philadelphia!
The four winners will work with all the Philadelphia community to put together a cookbook featuring everyone’s favorite Philly recipes. They’ll get a professional hair and make-up makeover, fly to Los Angeles to star in their own cooking videos, work with a professional food stylist, and have their recipes featured in a cookbook. Once all the recipes are in and the cookbook is together, the ladies will be sent on a press tour with Paula Deen to promote the book!
