What 2 year old boy doesn’t want a Thomas the Train Birthday party? I don’t know, but I do know that mine is gonna FLIP when he sees the little Thomas plates, napkins and balloons tomorrow when we have a little get together for his big day.
Andrew is obsessed with that train and all his friends. He loves not only the new computer generated episodes with Alec Baldwin telling the story, but also the older episodes with Ringo Starr and George Carlin narrating. There’s just something about them that all little boys flock to.
Of course, there will be Thomas the Train presents and wrapping paper. And most likely, a cake featuring the lovable guy.
I have a full day ahead of me shopping, cleaning up the house and preparing food. I think we’ll have 7 layer salad (I haven’t had it in years!), hot dogs, hamburgers and a few other goodies.

You need to take your little boy to a “Day Out With Thomas” one time. There is a real train that looks just like Thomas that pulls a train they get to ride in. It was a magical day for my little boy, and we totally surprised him with it. He had no idea he was going to get to meet Thomas! Go do this if you can. The look on your little boy’s face will make it all worthwhile. I know it did for me.
