Have a Yard Sale to pass on gently used, unwanted items.
A yard sale will help keep items from a landfill and allow you to make a few bucks in the process. You may not think that someone would want your old “junk” but more than likely, they will jump at the chance to buy your old baby clothes, household items, or kids toys at a discount!
If you’d like to up your ecological impact, try donating the money from your sale to your
favorite charity or green organization. Or try online sites such as Freecycle and Craigslist to giveaway your unwanted items. You can reduce waste and make someone very happy!
