Wordless Wednesday -Our Family Trip to Kentucky

So this post isn’t so “wordless”, but it is full of wonderful photos that tell a story. I hope you enjoy!

We recently took our 1st family trip to visit my Dad and family in Kentucky.  We were a little nervous about the 5 hour drive and staying away from home with the kids for 4 days and 3 nights, but it was a great experience!  The kids were wonderful and the company equally as awesome!

We visited Graeter’s Ice Cream while visiting.

And REALLY enjoyed it.

While Andrew and my brother, Eric, had a little joint Birthday celebration. Andrew turned 2 and Eric, 3.

Experienced a Duck Tour of Cincinnati and the Ohio River.

The kids played and enjoyed the perfect Summer temperatures.

And I got to spend some quality time with my sister, whom I don’t get to see often enough!

It was a great, long weekend – one of which I hope to experience again soon.

Next up on on schedule for the Summer…The Ozarks in Missouri for a week of camping (in an air conditioned cabin, of course!) and relaxing!
