Fancy Tree Ripened Peaches

Local Peaches

Look what a friend brought me today -

Fresh, fancy tree ripened peaches from the Apple Barn – an adorable local orchard that produces everything from apples, to flowers, to pumpkins, to baked goods and more!

I know that the end of peach season is upon us and that apple season is here, but I haven’t made one peach cobbler, crisp or fresh peach dessert this year.

I’ll likely try a new recipe this weekend and will most definitely share!

What are your favorite peach recipes?  I’d love to know!

I have never canned peaches, but we should! We buy them all year!

HI Kim!

Looks like all the teachers are busy getting their rooms together – they look great! What an exciting time!

I take photos with a point and shoot Canon Powershot – love it! Would love to have a DSLR – but not the price!

Argggh I so wanted to go to Apple Barn this weekend but we got caught up in cleaning and our son’s birthday party, it just flew right by us. But I’m hoping to get there tomorrow, I saw they have caramel apples on their sign.

Yes, Cat…we stopped by yesterday and picked up a caramel apple and some sweet corn for dinner. Poor Ella was so excited to eat her apple, but dropped it right in the freshly cut grass when we got out of the van! She was devastated! But, I picked it all off and she ate it anyway! haha!
