Happy Independence Day!

HI Everyone!  Happy 4th of July everyone!

I’m spending time in Wild, Wonderful West Virginia with my family for this holiday.  It’s been 4 years since I’ve been here last.  Ella was 18 months old and Andrew has never been here.  It’s been way too long.

The kids are having a blast getting to know my extended family and Brian and I are having an amazing time catching up with everyone.  Memories and stories are being shared and tears (happy and sad) are being shed.  It’s been great!

A cookout, slip and slide, bounce house, games and LOTS of homemade country food is in the works for today and a road trip to the New River Gorge in my (late) grandfather’s 1972 Shasta Motor home is planned for tomorrow. Lots of photos and stories to share when I return!
