Pinterest is all the buzz I’m hearing among my web friends right now. Pinterest lets you organize and share all of the wonderful things you find on websites and blogs. By using a “pin” you can place items onto boards categorized by your favorite topics.
Use pinboards to plan a weddings, decorate a nursery or living room, favorite products, and organize favorite recipes.
One of the fun things about Pinterest is that you can connect with other people by browsing their pinboards. Pinboards are a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.
To get started, all you need to do is request an invite. My invite was accepted almost immediately and I was on my way to my new addiction – Pinning!
By installing the Pinterst toolbar in your browser, the “Pin It” button lets you grab an image from any website and add it to one of your pinboards organized by a topic you choose. Pinterest even grabs the source and adds to the picture so that credit is given to the author.
Pinterest is a great way to connect common interests with people you know and even some you don’t! Add a “Pin It” or “Follow me on Pinterest” button to your website to let others know instantly where to find you. Follow you friends and get followed back.
Add Pinterest to another one of your favorite social media sites! It’s fun, addicting and FREE!
