I Have A Halloween Candy Hangover

I  really overdid it on the Halloween Candy this year.  I found it on-sale last week at Walgreens plus they had some coupons online AND I had coupons I found in the paper, so it was practically free.  But, the problem is that I have a problem with self-control when it comes to chocolate.  I can eat and eat and EAT it until I am literally sick.  If it’s in the house, I’m gonna get into it.

Hershey’s Bars, Reese’s Cups, Heath Bars, and M&M’s did a number on my stomach.  I had heartburn literally for days and my stomach actually burned.  I know…pretty pathetic.  But, I’m over it now and need to do a Chocolate detox to get back to feeling better.

I’ve always wanted to try fruit juicers and smoothie makers.  I think I may have to pick one up and do an all liquid diet and get my stomach back in order.  I love the Clean Program and actually don’t remember ever feeling better in my life than when I was on it.  It’s time…it’s time to jump back on that wagon and take back control from the sweets and chocolate!

Do your kids make themselves sick with candy this time of year or do you try and limit them to what they can have. I’ve heard parents say that they actually allow their children to eat all that they want so that they won’t want more and others say that they give them a few pieces and dump or giveaway the rest.   I try to give them a little at a time and then get rid of it.  Otherwise, I’m the one to finish it off!

Tell me….are you like me?  Do you overdo it with sweets this time of year or can you actually abstain and control yourself?  (If you’re the latter, don’t bother commenting. I don’t like you right now!  hahaha!  Just kidding!  I love you all!)
