It is hard to believe, but my baby girl, Ella, will be 6 years old in just a few weeks. I cannot believe it. It seems like yesterday I was planning my first born’s 1st Birthday party with a Baby Einstein theme with lots and lots of pink tulle. But, now, I’m planning a Pajama Party full of 5 and 6 year old girls that will likely include lots of squeals and laughter.

Ella naturally wanted to have a sleepover with 12 of her closest friends, but this Mamma is not ready to take that on. I was, however, able to talk her into a “Pajama Party” in the evening at our house that would include all the fun stuff you would do at a Slumber Party – but everyone goes home at the end of evening. She was thrilled!

Since I LOVE planning a good party, I turned to my new FAV site – Pinterest – for some inspiration and ideas on everything from decorations and games to food and fun!

The color pink for a little girl’s Birthday party is just adorable and is a must – I’m not sure how much longer I will get away with decorating with all the foo-foo stuff…but I’m gonna at least get it in this year.

Look at all this beautiful, pink cake! I love it!

I love the idea of serving drinks in little mason jars with labels or milk jars. So adorable! How neat is the milk and cookies idea? It would be perfect for right before the girls leave as a “bedtime” snack.

This is the most perfect candy and sweets table that Shelly, from the House of Smiths, put together for her daughter’s birthday. Don’t you just want to dive right in?! I thinking that this is going to be my inspiration for a dessert table. The girls would go crazy over it – we just won’t show tell their moms just how much they ate off of it before going home to bed. (wink, wink)

I think I have some great ideas to start planning an amazing 6th Birthday Pajama Party for my girl – but, I need YOUR help! Leave me your ideas for games, food, decorations and more in the comments below AND link me up to your Pinterest inspiration boards to help me out! Looking forward to seeing what you’ve got for me!

Embroidering or stamping the bag with the graduate’s initials will lend the gift a more personal touch. Compliments, you probably get more of them than you realize. So I went in for a consultation and they told me that that alone would not really help with my pores but if I did some lite laser skin resurfacing with it I would get better results, well $2000 later I had suffered through two Laser microderms which were very painful and hideous and some laser treatments which were not too bad, I was basically in the same boat.

  2. oh wow, those pins are gorgeous. I love the milk and cookies thing. For sure I’d get girly movie like Tangled or Beauty and the Beast with popcorn!
