Kasey

HI  – I’m Kasey – wife, mom, daycare provider and author of this blog I call “All Things Mamma!”

I grew up in West Virginia  and now call Illinois my home. Before children, I was a massage therapist, retail store manager, bank teller and Executive Director in the Chamber world – but not all at one time.  I currently spend my days taking care of my kids and other people’s kids.  Some days I think I’m crazy, other days – nuts!  But, I love what I do and love that I can stay home and raise my babies.

I enjoy spending time with my family and love shopping.  I have an addiction to Chocolate, Target and Starbucks.   I love the  ocean and don’t get to visit there as much as I would like!  I love to bake, cook, craft and blog and most days you’ll find me snapping photos of my family to update all of you on.
I started blogging in June of 2009 and have loved every minute of it!  It’s been wonderful meeting so many talented bloggers, PR representatives and readers.  I’ve worked with many brands including: Gerber, Kirkland’s, Minted, Tiny Prints, Hasbro, Food Network,  Leapfrog, Neutrogena, and much more! It’s been a great experience and I’m always open to more!

All Things Mamma is just that…ALL THINGS.  All things for your family, your home, your life…easier!  Here you’ll get to know me, my family, my life with two kids and my life as a home daycare provider.   You’ll  pick up a few tips, tricks & products to make your life easier (and fun!) and hopefully a little greener.  Plus -once in a while, you may pick up a FREE item or two with our giveaways!  We’re extremely PR Friendly and would love to share products and tips to all of you!

 Meet my family……..

Brian

Brian is my wonderful, amazing husband and the best dad I could ever imagine.  He’s handy and quite funny!  Brian loves to run, read anything he can get his hands on that is Biblically sound and a wonderful musician!  From time to time, you might catch a guest post from him right here on the blog.

Ella

Ella is my 1st born and is 6 years old.  She just started Kindergarten and is loving it!  She’s doing great with it…me, not so much.  Ella is very loving and loves taking gymnastics,  dancing, singing, and playing school. Ella is also the best big sister ever!

Andrew

Andrew is our baby and is 3 years old and started pre-school this year.  He’s sweet and loves to cuddle and is one smart cookie!   He loves to climb and run, is obsessed with football & monster trucks and is ALL BOY!   So fun and lots of love to give!

AND coming in July 2012….Baby #3!  We are ecstatic to announce that we’ll be adding another bundle of joy to our family. Still not sure if baby will be a boy or a girl, but we’ll be sure to share as soon as we know!

Baby #3

Whether this is your first time here or you’re a regular – I’m so glad you stopped by! Make sure to introduce yourself and if you have a blog, leave me your link. I’d love to learn more about you!  Also, make sure to grab my button and show me some comment love before you leave!

So, sit back, relax and stay a while and enjoy getting to know me a little better, your ALL THINGS MAMMA!

Hi! Kasey, Just came across your website while looking for a healthy blue-
berry muffin recipe. What an interesting website and fun! I honor anyone who is raising a family (little people), giving childcare to other families, creating a home, and the fact that you are raising your own children. Our children are on their own now : Sam-married w/3 1/2 yr. old(29), Sarah, single-esthetician, front desk at a salon (26) & Mitchell engaged to high school sweet heart (7>yrs) graduated from MSU last Dec. with bachelors in Zoology/Environmental Biology (24) a sweetheart! I am a hairstylist and I was able to work parttime & sometimes schedule my own hours to accomodate life with a family & active children at any age. We are just around the corner from you, I live close to Vicksburg, MI and kids are close-by Vicksburg, Portage, Kalamazoo area.
I think its important for women, in the process of having children & a wonderful partner, to try to keep something just for themselves. Seems you have a couple things going (Ha) ! Massage & your so creative; I think its good for our children to see that the world does not revolve around them and they appreciate the things that are important to you and your husband, and in time they learn many ways to share/give of themselves. Most importantly I believe parenthood-raising children is the hardest job in the world. Alot of responsibility is on the parent :allowing children to have some independence, give them boundaries(no matter what age), appreciating their individual qualities(even though they’re different than their best friend, discipline, respect, etc. You know what I mean, I’m sure. WOW, I’m sorry I got carried away with a simple comment on your blog! I just really wanted to say, your doing a great job, what an awesome idea and I’m sure your having fun with it. I sure am enjoying reading it!

Hello,

I was just going through some finance related sites and blogs and came across your site (http://allthingsmamma.com) too. I really found it interesting and informative. I am working and associated with many finance sites as a content writer and I write articles on various topics of Finances. I really liked the way you have presented your site. I would love to do a “Guest Post” for your site like I did for other sites without charging you a penny :)

Some of the companies I co-author for are Community Development Financial Institutions, Oak View Law Group, Center for Community Development Investments etc. It would be great to be a part of reputed site like yours :)

The article will be 100% original and will be published only on your site. If you want you can suggest me a topic and I ll write an article for you on that topic.

Looking forward for a positive reply :)

Thanks,

Patricia Briggs
