Have I told you how much I hate clutter?
Oh Yeah…on more than one occasion, I believe I’ve mentioned it.
Well, I’ll say it again – I. HATE. CLUTTER.    Clutter makes me cringe.  Clutter makes me anxious and uptight.  Clutter makes me not want to breath until it is cleared from my sight and replaced with clean, [...]

I run an in-home daycare, as most of you know.  It’s tough sometimes.  It’s long hours and pretty much constant work.  The one thing that is a constant help and relief, is my husband.  He is home with me daily and does a great deal of work to help out and keep things running smoothly.
He’s [...]

Yet Another Snowfall…

February 16, 2010

Well, the snow has stopped falling and has left yet another 3 or 4 inches to our yard.  I’m really starting to think that Winter will never end, but I’m going to go by the Calendar and know that it really will end soon!
Brian was home yesterday thanks to our good ol’ Presidents!  It’s always [...]

When Your Child Is The Biter

November 19, 2009

My 17 month old, Andrew,  is a biter and I hate it!  As most moms, I vowed that I would never have a biter and wouldn’t put up with it should I ever have one.  But, now that he’s started doing it,  I’m at a loss.
When most parents  send their child off to Daycare, they [...]

Sun Salutes & Downward Dogs

September 22, 2009

I know that most people don’t enjoy Mondays, but I really don’t enjoy them.  As a childcare provider, Mondays are our worst day of the week.  The kids come in tired and cranky from the weekend of running around with their parents and they have a hard time getting into the groove of being somewhere [...]

Our Favorite Lunch: Spinach & Black Bean Quesadillas

August 17, 2009

Well, here’s my famous (hardly) Spinach and Black Bean Quesadilla recipe that a few of you asked for today after reading my Tweet on what we were having for lunch.  The kids LOVE this meal and always gobble it up.  I make it at least once a week for the daycare and usually have it [...]

Green Tip

July 10, 2009

I personally love both!  In a perfect world, I would use cloth diapers all [...]
