Yes, you can freeze rotisserie chicken! The best way to do it is to remove the meat from the bones, let it cool completely, then store it in freezer-safe bags or containers for up to 3 months. I like to portion the chicken out into smaller, individual-sized containers and label each one with the date.

What’s the easiest way to shred rotisserie chicken for recipes?

The easiest method is to use two forks to pull the meat apart while it’s still warm. You can also use a stand mixer with a paddle attachment on low speed to shred larger amounts quickly.
